My name's Helen, and I spent over a year planning and arranging my wedding day so that it would be perfect, on budget and still look as though we spent more money than we actually did.

I'm aware that your budget is unlikely to be the same as the next brides and cheap is a relative term. You might want to achieve your perfect wedding for less than £4,000, or maybe your budget is between £4,000 - £8,000 or maybe more.

What I'm trying to say, is that everyone has different budgets and different "must have items" so I've tried to set out this site in such a way that everyone, regardless of their budget can still make significant savings in each area of their wedding without compromising it.
